Kids Mini Jazz (Ages 3.5–5.5)
(Beginner)
These high-energy introductory classes introduce young children to rhythm, coordination, and the joy of moving to music. Through age-appropriate games, simple routines, and props, Mini Jazz builds confidence and listening skills that set the foundation for structured dance training ahead.
Kids Jazz – Jazz 1/2 (Ages 5–8)
(Beginner to Intermediate)
Young dancers learn fundamental jazz techniques including footwork, isolations, turns, and age-appropriate choreography. Classes blend structured instruction with creative energy to keep children engaged while building real technical skills.
Teen Jazz – Jazz 3/4 & Jazz 4 (Ages 8–14)
(Beginner & Experienced Welcome)
Older students develop sharper technique through combinations, performance skills, and increasingly complex choreography. This level builds flexibility, strength, and stage confidence. Both beginners and students with prior experience are welcome.
Competitive Jazz (Ages 5–14)
(By Invitation or Audition)
Competitive Jazz is a separate program from recreational classes, designed for dedicated students in our Team JDS competitive program. Training focuses on precision, stage presence, and performance readiness for regional and national competitions. Placement is by invitation or instructor recommendation.
Elite Jazz (Ages 14–18)
(By Instructor Permission)
Designed for advanced teen dancers ready to push their training further. Elite Jazz focuses on refined technique, performance preparation, and competition-level choreography. Enrollment requires audition or instructor approval.
Placement is at instructor discretion. Students may be assessed before placement in this level.
